① someone is off

off这个词意思非常多

比如“离开、减价、远离”等等

在这个表达里就可以表示“不在状态”

在美剧《摩登家庭》中

Manny和Luke对话时

就出现了这个用法：

Manny: Buddy, what’s wrong? You’ve been a little offall morning.

Luke: I’ve been feeling a lot of stress lately. My head’s all foggy, and I’m kind of emotional.

-老弟，怎么了？你整个早上都不在状态。

-最近我感到特有压力，脑袋昏沉沉的，而且有些情绪化。

② someone is not all there

从字面意思来看

你可能会理解为“某人不在那儿”

但其实是在说某人“不在状态、有些反常”

我们来看两个例句：

Sometimes I think you’re not all there and you just don’t realize it.

有时候我觉得你不在状态，但自己又没有觉察到而已。

You can’t depend on Jason for much help. He’s really not all there.

distracted/dɪˈstræktɪd/

这个词也可以表达

在美剧《马男波杰克》中
